About Our Ministry

To date, God has provided the vision, the talent, and the means to maintain this not-for-profit ministry.

Recognized Status

  • Is a State of Ohio not-for-profit organization, registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a  501(c)(3) organization. 

  • Operated according to the By-Laws as stated in the Application for Filing for Incorporation. 

  • Is governed by a self-perpetuating Board of Directors with members elected for three-year terms. Members are all unpaid volunteers.

  • The Board of Directors has responsibilities that enable God's Great Outdoors, Inc. to safeguard its mission and financial integrity. A Certified Public Accountant assists with maintaining required financial records. The Directors work to enable and assist the Leadership.

Donor Supported

God's Great Outdoors has been sustained by free-will gifts from the beginning. Businesses, individuals, churches, and charitable organizations that GIVE make it possible to meet the annual budget, approved by the Board of Directors.

Each year, the Board assesses the opportunities ahead. After prayer, deliberation, and adhering to standard accounting procedures, the annual budget is approved by the Board of Directors.

General fund donations support the ongoing operating expenses for media production, staff support, communications services, office support, and other costs required to sustain the daily operations of God's Great Outdoors. Projects like printing tracts, publishing books, and adding media are often the subjects of special gifts.

Monthly giving by donors is recognized as an invaluable portion of the financial support. God's Great Outdoors may accept "Gift-in-Kind" donations for crucial efforts of the ministry. Arrangements are made in advance of a "Gift-In-Kind."

God's Great Outdoors, Inc. is a tax-exempt organization as defined by the "I.R.S. 501(c)(3) Code."
