Ministry Appearance Request Agreement
Terms Of Agreement
As a representative of a church or outdoor-related ministry, we are requesting and committing to God's Great Outdoors, sending Dean Hulce to come speak on the date(s) specified on the Appearance Request Form.
It is understood that the Board of Directors of God's Great Outdoors asks for a minimum honorarium of $500.00 for a day's speaking engagement, with checks made out to God's Great Outdoors. We understand that by requesting the above date(s), we also agree to pay for all travel expenses, hotel dates, and meals while at the event. When travel is by vehicle instead of by air, 45 cents per mile round-trip for mileage would meet the travel requirements. When the date is during the winter months, Dean's arrival is the day before, to assure his presence at the prescribed time. Accordingly, an extra hotel day may need to be provided.
Clear directions to the hotel and location of the event are necessary in advance of the travel dates.
Other housing arrangements outside the above stated, are to be established via direct communications with Dean.
The above-listed honorarium and expenses are to be presented at the end of the outreach event.
By submitting this request to have Dean Hulce come to speak, you are agreeing that this outdoor-related outreach is an evangelistic event. This is the focus of our ministry.
You can expect Dean to do a Call To Action, asking heads to be bowed and eyes closed, as part of his 45-minute time. The Board of Directors of God's Great Outdoors prayerfully requests that the church or outdoor ministry prepare a follow-up team for discipleship. Prepare for those making any decision and that "Information Cards" (decision cards) be used at the end of the outreach to facilitate follow-up. Additionally, the church or ministry agrees to begin praying for all aspects of this outreach, including, by name, those that will be personally invited to the event.
For your guests, God's Great Outdoors will provide the church or sponsoring organization with a supply of "The Salvation Poem Pens" at cost. The pens are intended to be given out with the decision cards.
The door prizes should be held near the end of the event. The drawing is tied to the "Site Registration" or "Information Cards." As necessary, we will show you how to get these cards filled out. The pens at cost, along with other GGO products, are our gift to your ministry's outdoor evangelistic outreach event efforts.
The requesting organization agrees to provide two tables for GGO to give out tracts and sell outdoor ministry tools.
Dean uses a PowerPoint presentation that includes audio. Some facilities use another presentation software, like Church Pro Presenter, as noted on the form. A technician responsible for the media operation will be available to meet with the speaker sufficiently in advance of the event to reliably prepare and not be distracted from meeting and greeting your attending guests.
The Event Registration Card or Contact Form used the day of the event will include name, address, and email information. This information will be shared with GGO to enable attendees to receive Dean's Free Daily Devotional by email or Facebook.
Please provide clear directions to the hotel and location of the event you are planning in advance of the travel dates.
Persons named on the associated form agree with the requirements listed above.
When confirmed, God's Great Outdoors commits Dean Hulce to speak on the date or dates listed. A $250.00 deposit is included with the return of the enclosed Agreement. This can be done electronically with the online web form. If payment is made by check, it must be received in the office within 10 days of the submission of this request.
By submitting, I (We) agree to the requirements of the above statement and understand this agreement to be in effect once the deposit is received at God's Great Outdoors Office and dates confirmed by mail or electronically.
To facilitate scheduling, verbal commitments are official when this form is submitted and confirmation is received.
