EMPTY YOURSELF
Acts 4:31
And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.
There is something special about a crisp fall morning. When you get into the woods for the first cold calm fall morning of the year and you take a deep breath and the moist crisp air completely fills your lungs and actually feels like it fills your whole being. It's a refreshing fulfilling experience that is impossible to explain to someone that has never done it, never been there. There aren't many feelings like that... Accept to be filled with the Spirit of God.
Words, "to be filled with the Holy Spirit" has been explained differently by different people. But there is one thing that doesn't change... Like filing your lungs with crisp cold air takes emptying your body of the old air, to be filled with the Holy Spirit you need to completely empty yourself of you. There's no room for our own desires, needs or wants, just Gods Spirit.
We've often heard that someone feels empty... We are never empty, we cannot be empty. We are either filled with God's wonderful spirit or we are filled with selfish desires.
Empty yourself of what you desire and allow God to fill you with His sweet spirit
