Brothers building up brothers
Psalms 133:1
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!
It had been a great first hour of the hunt... my brother Dave and I called in a good bull elk for Ben and while Dave and Ben's dad went after another bull, Ben and I sat on the side of the mountain and over a couple hours, we became great and now longtime friends.
There are few places that build strong relationships better than a hunting camp or a mountain. Some of best friend/brotherly relationships were made and nurtured there. Once those brother to brother relationships are born it is so great to "dwell together in unity".
Relationships built with godly men are needed so badly in our world today. The pressures of standing alone will weaken or destroy many men. Seek out men of like mind and allow these friends to mold and support you.
Proverbs 27:17, as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
Allow those relationships to build and sharpen you.
