LET IT GO...

Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

When my friend Dan was in high school he was hunting in northern  Wisconsin with his uncle.  Dan shot a big 10 point buck that ran across a small clear cut expired within sight of a gravel road.  Dan walked towards where the buck had gone down, but before he got there two men drove by on the road and his buck.  They stopped and began dragging his buck towards their car.

When Dan got to them he told them that he had shot the buck.  They didn't care and proceeded to load the buck in the trunk of their car and speed off.

Dan had been wronged and he remained angry over that loss for many years.  It was hard to let it go and it took years to finally forgive those men and let it go.

We've all been hurt so badly by someone that it is extremely difficult to even think about forgiving them, let alone actually forgiving them.  I believe that it is impossible to truly forgive someone an offense without the help of God...  Why?  Because humans all carry a sin nature since the original sin from Adam and Eve.

C.S. Lewis once said,
"To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you."

Life is too short, to spend any time holding a grudge against someone.  The person that you can't forgive is not the one being brought down... It's you...  the one that can't forgive.

Let it go, forgive as God forgave you.  The freedom and rest you will receive will be well worth it.
